As Yom Kippur approaches, we pray for a year of health, happiness, peace, and revealed blessings for our families, our community, and our brothers and sisters in Israel.
Our tradition teaches that giving tzedakah during these sacred days is a powerful source of merit and blessing. Your contribution to our Kol Nidrei Appeal helps Chabad of Laguna Beach & Dana Point remain a warm and welcoming Jewish home–for the child receiving a Jewish education, the family celebrating Shabbat and the holidays, and every Jew looking for a place to connect and belong.
Gifts of $1,800 or more will be recognized with the special merit of Maftir Yonah at Mincha on Yom Kippur - a tradition associated with blessings of abundance for the coming year. The names of these contributors will also be placed in the Aron HaKodesh during Neilah, the closing and holiest moments of Yom Kippur.
